The internship aims to build upon educational knowledge and develop essential skills and experience for success within the Engineering team's processes. The ideal candidate should have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, a strong work ethic, and an 'ALL IN' attitude to achieve results.

Requirements

Actively enrolled in College Courses
2.5 or higher GPA required
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Perform field walks with Management to assess assigned projects
Research existing records including property data and utility records for drafting purposes
Participate in meetings held between Engineering and Construction teams
Create and communicate permit packages, generating application paperwork for permit agencies
Assist in the maintaining of the GIS database
Utilize spatial data to help analyze and estimate project costs
Assist in completing finished designs from sketches provided
Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs
Assist in loading and transferring GIS data between different systems
Develop overall knowledge of daily duties and responsibilities of an engineer in our workplace
Perform other position duties when requested
