About The Position

Role Description: Provide support to Tech Service Engineering to support various projects and day to day floor support. ENGINEERING INTERN – TECH SERVICES Location: Kalamazoo, MI Internship Summary: This role would support the Technical Services team at the Zoetis Kalamazoo Global Manufacturing and Supply location. You would support various projects that would span the entire site. You also would have day to day responsibility for helping the production floor.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or related field
• Self starter working with minimal supervision
• Must work well in a team environment
• Enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term preceding internship.
• Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be physically residing in the U.S for the entirety of the internship.
• Must work near moving mechanical parts.
• Eye protection and other personal protective equipment are required.
• Colleague will work in a facility that manufactures Cephalosporins and must not be Cephalosporin sensitive.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Tech Services on process improvement and problem solving
• Assist in validation of existing and new equipment
• Work to digitize current validation processes to allow for streamlined and efficient work
• Learn the operations of the site and help support the leaders and teams
• Utilize mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
