Eagle River Water & Sanitation District is seeking a CIP Engineering Intern to join our Capital Improvement Program team. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting real infrastructure projects that directly impact our community and environment. In this role, you’ll work alongside engineers, operations staff, and construction managers to help organize critical project documentation, support asset management efforts, and contribute to active capital improvement projects. The Day to Day: Document Management & Organization: Help modernize and centralize engineering documentation by locating, organizing, and consolidating digital and hard copy files into a structured SharePoint system. Asset Management Support: Partner with operations teams to document and catalog District assets and maintain data in spreadsheets or databases. Construction Project Support: Assist the Construction Manager with daily logs, submittals, and coordination tasks on active CIP projects. Systems & Process Support: Support setup and use of project tools (e.g., Procore) and improve documentation workflows. Collaboration Across Teams: Work with engineering, operations, and construction staff to support ongoing initiatives.
