What you’ll Do: Our Process Engineering internship offers a hands-on learning experience in cable design and industry standards, including UL, IEC, BS, and more. As an intern, you’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer and the engineering team, assisting with various projects such as measuring products, examining cable constructions, reviewing customer specifications, and supporting new product testing. You’ll also gain experience in flame testing cables, as well as other electrical and mechanical tests. Additionally, you’ll learn about cable design programs like Cable Builder and explore materials used in fire-resistant and flame-retardant instrumentation cables. This internship provides valuable, real-world skills and a deeper understanding of the engineering processes behind critical electrical systems. What You’ll Need:

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering
  • Rising Junior
  • The ability to demonstrate relevant skills and experience required for the role
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Cross collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (excel, word, Power Point, Outlook and Teams)
