Requirements
- CAD software experience of 0+ years is necessary.
- Current enrolment (or recent graduate) in an Associate’s degree (A.A.), Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program from a college or technical school; or zero months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, 2D and 3D.
- Use internal, national, and industry drafting standards.
- Creates drawings according to current standards and manufacturing processes.
- Verify accuracy of drawings, checking dimensions, materials, relationship between parts, and tolerances.
- Utilizes knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to create designs and drawings.
- Communicate with other departments to validate design and/or drawings.
- Perform sustaining engineering tasks, including but not limited to engineering change, and 3D modeling of previously product drawn in 2D.
