About The Position
We are looking for self-motivated Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering students to join our team for an immersive summer internship. This isn't a "get us coffee" kind of gig. You will be working in person alongside our small engineering team to tackle real-world challenges and valuable hands-on experience. Requirements
- Academic Standing: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, specifically entering your Senior year (Junior standing) by Fall 2026.
- Major: Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Location: Ability to work on-site in Chesapeake VA for the duration of the internship.
- Technical Foundations: For Software Interns: Proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, or Java; understanding of systems architecture or software development lifecycles. For Mechanical Interns: Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), thermodynamics, or materials science.

Responsibilities
- Collaborative Design & Development: Work directly with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test new features or mechanical components.
- Product Enhancement: Identify bottlenecks or design flaws in our current offerings and propose data-driven solutions.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous hardware/software testing, document results, and iterate based on performance feedback.
- Peer Mentorship: Participate in design reviews and code sprints, receiving direct mentorship from seasoned engineers.
