Metalcraft of Mayville Inc./SCAG Power Equipment has opportunities for Engineering Interns. The company primarily hires Engineering Interns within 4 different Engineering Groups: Product Design Engineer / R&D, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, and Automation Engineer. The number of interns needed & work location of internship may vary by time of year and business needs. Internships are available year-round. Interns will report to a manager within the engineering group they are hired for.

  • Support Product Design Engineers in product development projects from concept to production, ensuring projects are completed within budget and schedule.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in continuous improvement projects, drafting plant layout visions, and creating standard work for manufacturing processes.
  • Help Project Design Engineers with design analysis, drawing reproduction, documentation, and project management activities to ensure projects are production ready.
  • Aid Automation Engineers in planning, designing, programming, testing, and commissioning of automated systems.
  • Working towards Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
