About The Position

As an Electrical Engineering Intern in Engineering Services at SEL, you will provide solutions and services that help protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide. This role involves technical support, testing of technologies, and documentation of results, contributing to the prevention of blackouts and enhancing the safety and efficiency of power systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with one to two years of engineering education completed.
• Ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows Applications.
• Practical knowledge of protective relays and automation controllers.
• Practical circuit knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to SEL staff and customers.
• Developing and maintaining knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.
• Performing testing on new and existing technology.
• Documenting and communicating test results.
