Description Role & Responsibilities: Complete assignments received from supervisor using established design tools and procedures Assist with higher level CFD/FEA as required by the engineering team Communication with the Corporate FEA team to better understand FEA/CFD results Assist in the development of documentation of data and projects in a timely manner Create technical animations, illustrations, and/or presentations Be able to create layouts utilizing accepted GD&T standards Initiate Engineering Change Orders when required following prescribes NOV procedures Collaborate with all downhole groups to manage projects from concept through completion Work well with other team members and groups Must have a commitment to HSE and risk management in everything that they do All other duties as assigned by Supervisor Witness shop assembly and testing of tools as required Facility / Group Specific Responsibilities General to advanced knowledge and application of materials and manufacturing processes Basic knowledge of project design process Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Junior/Senior level preferred) General oilfield knowledge and/or career interest is a plus Prior experience with CFD and/or FEA a plus Prior internship experience with downhole tools a plus
