About The Position

Sewer and Storm Water Utilities offers internship opportunities each year for college students majoring in Engineering. The Utilities Engineering Intern will spend 24+ hours/week during the summer learning and performing tasks to support the Engineering division. Work may include AutoCAD, GIS and extensive field experience. The position could work into reduced hours during the school semester if both parties are agreeable.

Requirements

• Must be an Engineering or related major.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability for regular attendance and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering division by performing tasks related to sewer and stormwater utilities.
• Utilize AutoCAD and GIS for engineering tasks.
• Gain extensive field experience related to utilities engineering.
