The Advanced Materials Group at Leidos is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern – Software/App Development for Simulating Metal Additive Manufacturing Process to join our team in Crane, IN. This is an in-person position. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in an Engineering or Computer Science program and interested in applying software development skills to real-world engineering challenges. As an intern in this role, you will gain hands-on experience developing features for a custom application that supports additive manufacturing workflows. While your primary responsibilities will center on front-end and/or back-end development, you will also have the opportunity to learn about materials science, mechanical behavior, and additive manufacturing processes. We are looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and the ability to think critically about engineering systems.
