About The Position

Position Summary: This position will be part of the xEV Regional PE group for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for activity and support for Inverter programs. The purpose of the position will be to support activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to Inverter products. Overall requirements of the position are to ensure that production equipment runs to equipment specification and produces products based on the product specifications, and customer requirement, including ensuring that equipment is verified and qualified for mass production utilization. This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include: Ensure equipment specifications to produce products and align with regional requirements. Confirm that equipment is installed and meets required specifications. Ensure that equipment is safe to utilize for all associates. Confirm that all product requirements are met through online testing, including the verification (daily and validation) Ensure the line is running according to standards and trouble shoot issues that arise. Design parts to improve operations and efficiency of the line. Write code for programs to help with safety and efficiency for the associate working the line. Assist other departments in setting up testing trials/experiments for customer/internal troubles, including countermeasure activity as needed. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): Must have transportation to and from Greenfield, IN facility. (Not a remote position) Working on Engineering or Technical Degree or have been accepted into and planning on attending a post-secondary education facility for Engineering or Technical education. Ability to make quick, accurate, data driven decisions and utilize excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems.
