The Engineering Intern will learn about wastewater equipment and processes to support our engineering team. The Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in wastewater equipment and processes while supporting our engineering team.

Requirements

• Enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
• Ability to work in a state-of-the-art collaborative environment located in Hartland, WI
• Willingness to visit client sites to gain an understanding of process and equipment requirements
• Coursework or experience in Industrial Wastewater Management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high level of technical curiosity and a willingness to learn about our processes, equipment, and client needs
• Assist Probst Project Managers and Project Engineers with technical tasks and scheduling-related work
• Review process data and perform calculations
• Learn about treatment processes and wastewater characteristics used to determine loadings for wastewater treatment plants
• Become familiar with CAD and assist drafters in developing site layouts, process flow diagrams, and process instrumentation diagrams
