Summary Description Responsible for assisting in all phases of the design, documentation and tracking related to electrical power systems, assisting with all aspects of power system studies, testing & troubleshooting, and power system analysis in support of the EnerG Test team and The Tri-M Group.

Requirements

  • High School degree with some College education
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Some knowledge of drafting software (preferably AutoCAD and VISIO)
  • Some Power System Study experience, SKM experience helpful.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent human relations skills
  • Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Vision adequate for daily and consistent computer use and reading
  • Sitting 6 to 8 hours/day
  • Lifting weights of 0 to 30 lbs. from floor to above shoulders
  • Repetitive use of hands for writing, typing, data entry

Responsibilities

  • Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
  • Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.
  • Assists with Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) as-builts as required.
  • Assists in creating/editing customer, schedules, reports, data entry, and Power System Study related programs.
  • Assists in job design, job submittals and report development.
  • Assists in other job documentation and archiving tasks.
  • Progresses in learning all engineering tasks on projects including: project management; design; sequence of operations; power system study and power quality software, data collection and entry, power study model creation and set up; Arc Flash and Power Coordination, and job commissioning as needed.
  • Training to be provided as needed for job tasks.
