Who You Are We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our IoT Connected Backend Services team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend services that power IoT applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers/Software Developers and contribute to projects that have a real impact on our products and services.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Very good understanding of programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, C or Node.js.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with IoT device firmware development is an advantage
Mobile Development experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, optimization and deployment of backend services for IoT applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud-based platforms.
Participate in the development of APIs and microservices to support IoT data processing and analytics.
Help in optimizing and scaling backend systems to handle large volumes of IoT data.
Conduct testing and debugging of backend services to ensure reliability and performance.
Document technical specifications and processes for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and backend development.
