Who You Are We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our IoT Connected Backend Services team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend services that power IoT applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers/Software Developers and contribute to projects that have a real impact on our products and services.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Very good understanding of programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, C or Node.js.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Experience with IoT device firmware development is an advantage
  • Mobile Development experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, optimization and deployment of backend services for IoT applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud-based platforms.
  • Participate in the development of APIs and microservices to support IoT data processing and analytics.
  • Help in optimizing and scaling backend systems to handle large volumes of IoT data.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of backend services to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Document technical specifications and processes for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and backend development.
