The City of Eagan is now accepting applications for Engineering Intern - 2025. Engineering Interns primary duties include providing assistance to engineering personnel with the annual street rehabilitation projects and performing traffic counts. They assist with the inspection and measurement of quantities for the current year's projects, perform field reviews for the upcoming year's projects, and collect, compile, and submit traffic count information to Mn/DOT. Secondary duties include assistance with the preparation of feasibility reports, assessment roles, AutoCAD base plans, surveying, and the creation of maps, graphics, and exhibits for street improvement projects. They also provide technical assistance to Engineering personnel, and assist the general public with engineering related questions or problems.
