Leads, guides and directs a large group of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables in support of vehicle software quality. Manages execution of end to end software quality tasks for an assigned set of software products. Provides technical leadership to the team and defines strategic initiatives. Collaborates with Product, Program, Systems and Engineering Development teams to align on scope, strategy and timing. Leads team on new methods or initiatives without defined procedures. Leads team to meet targets. Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the GM Global Technical Center - Sloan Engineering Center at least three times per week minimum or other frequency dictated by the business. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
