About The Position

The Engineering Graphics & Design Technician will collaborate closely with civil engineering teams to create detailed construction drawings and design documents for transportation and infrastructure projects. This position is a great fit for individuals looking to build a strong technical foundation in roadway/highway design, utility layouts, grading, and related project visuals.

Requirements

• 0-3+ years of experience in engineering graphics or drafting
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. Associate in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field required.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD required. Experience with Bentley MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer preferred.
• Familiarity with Civil/Site or Transportation Infrastructure projects preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Prepare and edit engineering drawings, exhibits, and plans using CAD and design software
• Support civil engineers with visual design components for roadways, stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion control
• Assist with developing cost estimates, project documentation, and submittals for agency review
• Organize and maintain drawing files, templates, and project standards
