About The Position
Foundation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert in helical piles. This position is integral to our operations, focusing on providing engineering support primarily to our East Coast customer base, with some responsibilities extending to the West Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing take-offs and quotes, tracking projects using our CRM system, Zoho, and actively participating in industry conferences and gatherings to represent FTI as a leading expert in helical piles. In this role, you will work closely with the outside sales team to identify value engineering opportunities where helical piles can serve as a viable alternative to traditional foundation elements. This includes proactive prospecting of jobs on Construct Connect, preparing bid documents, and scraping plans in the bid room for engineering firms to facilitate educational seminars. You will also be responsible for identifying potential contractors for the sales team to engage with, ensuring that FTI's family of brands is well-represented within the area of responsibility (AOR). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering technical and engineering questions, preparing and reviewing standard engineering documentation and geotechnical reports, and providing technical support on job sites when necessary. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
