About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University is seeking passionate and dedicated adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face courses at our Phoenix campus. Our faculty are committed to engaging and mentoring students, preparing them for the evolving fields of IT and Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to teach a writing-intensive course on Engineering Economics and Project Management, where students will learn essential project management skills and concepts related to engineering economics. The position is designed for those who are motivated to provide exceptional quality instruction in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Master's in an engineering OR business discipline
  • 3 or more years of experience leading projects

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Doctorate

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
