Requirements

High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Associate degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles.
Ability to adapt to moderately complex technical challenges.
Comfortable working in varied environments and schedules.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Experience with transformer tank design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support development and production by building and refining transformer tank components.
Create and update detailed drawings using drafting and GD&T principles.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams on insulation and external designs.
Run transformer tank design programs and ensure accurate execution.
Coordinate with suppliers and monitor procurement of long-lead materials.
Participate in daily Gemba meetings to drive continuous improvement.
Compile and analyze technical data to support production decisions.
Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.
