The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at Travelers is a one-year initiative designed to cultivate innovative thinking, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to challenging the status quo among its participants. This program offers a unique opportunity to be placed in one of four specialized tracks: Software, Data, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure & Cloud. Each track is meticulously crafted to enhance both technical and self-leadership skills through a blend of hands-on experiences, immersive learning journeys, and a robust mentoring program. Participants will engage with various technologies and collaborate with experienced engineers, setting a personal example of excellence and accountability. As an EDP participant, you will be expected to actively challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The program emphasizes the importance of taking initiative, embracing change, and supporting diverse perspectives while celebrating the achievements of others. Travelers promotes a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in work locations, which is integral to fostering a productive and balanced work environment. In the Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering track, participants will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of a dynamic array of technologies and services that are crucial for the organization. Responsibilities will include engineering support, installation, and operations of infrastructure technologies, with a focus on diagnostic testing and technical analysis.
