Requirements

  • Engineering design experience & certification preferred
  • 5 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • NICET Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.
  • Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.
  • Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.
  • Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.
  • Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design.
  • Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.
  • Participates in production tracking program as directed and administered by management.
  • Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.
  • Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.
