About The Position

Having a major role in the Engineering support team at Voith Hydro, the master data coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of engineering data related to critical internal processes.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering or equivalent
• Work experience with data creation and data management in industrial context, preferably with SAP
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Interest in working on technical products and projects in the renewable energy sector and learning the basic operating principles
• Ability to multi-task based on business needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Effective teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers defining and entering Bills of Materials (BOM's), based on sourcing and manufacturing strategy
• Track engineering changes and distribute tasks to ensure compliance with revised designs and others functions in the organization (supply management, quality, site, etc.)
• Follow up on engineering milestone and open tasks in SAP system
• Prepare reports related to project cost for management team
• Develop standards, implement best practices and routines to promote effective use of systems
• Act as main contact by training and supporting the engineering team in their daily use of the various systems
