Performs general, routine maintenance, wall repair, painting and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for SRMC and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital, in accordance with applicable guidelines, laws and accreditation standards. Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance, wall repair, painting and daily non-scheduled work requests. Covers all areas of the facility as necessary, weekend rotation as assigned. Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 2 year technical certification in an industrial trade preferred.
• 1 year experience as a maintenance mechanic and/or painter in a hospital or equivalent experience in industry or military.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, routine maintenance, wall repair, painting and servicing operations.
• Maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for SRMC and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital.
• Responsible for a designated portion of the buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance.
• Handle wall repair, painting and daily non-scheduled work requests.
• Cover all areas of the facility as necessary, including weekend rotation as assigned.
• Complete other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
