  • Learn and support machine setup and teardown across a variety of equipment, including manual and CNC lathes, manual and CNC vertical milling centers, 3, 4, and 5-axis milling centers, and sinker and wire electrical discharge machining (EDM).
  • Collaborate with engineering to create CAM packages, including CAD models, CNC programs, tool sheets, G-code generation, and work holding solutions.
  • Support and track continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in CNC milling, lathe, grinding, finishing, shipping, and coatings.
  • Participate in larger company-wide improvement projects.
  • Engage directly with employees on the shop floor to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform ROI and savings calculations to support project proposals.
  • Conduct and document After Action Reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
  • Share information, findings, and successes across teams and facilities to promote continuous learning.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (all disciplines), or Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, problem-solving methods, project charters, and delivery schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with manufacturing software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to maintain and track action items (RAIL – Rolling Action Item List).
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-up skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Commitment to working safely and following all procedures and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.
  • Exposure to both technical and business aspects of advanced manufacturing.
