About The Position

From plans on paper to projects that stand tall—turn vision into reality as an Engineering & Construction Project Manager. You'll oversee major capital projects that enhance Branson's neighborhoods, businesses, and infrastructure from the ground up.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology.
• Six (6) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for formal education as determined by the Department Director.
• Three (3) years of experience in the construction of streets, heavy highway construction, building construction, evaluation, material sampling, repair, rehabilitation, or inspection.
• Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Possess a valid Class B CDL license or obtain within twelve (12) months of start date.
• Possess or be able to obtain certification as a Work Zone Safety and Traffic Signal Technician within twelve (12) months of start date.
• Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.
• Be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Construction Projects - Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance - Inspect contractor work for adherence to standards in street, bridge, sewer, water, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage Costs & Contracts - Estimate project costs, review bids, negotiate change orders, and track budgets.
• Stay Hands-On - Visit job sites, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in every phase of construction.
