We are currently seeking an Engineering Co-op to be a part of a team working on nuclear and military HVAC projects. You will be involved in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and testing custom-designed HVAC systems, including chillers, air conditioners, high-efficiency filtration, absorption systems, coolers, fans, dampers, and accessories. This is a 1st shift position located at our manufacturing facility in Batavia, OH.

Requirements

• Candidates seeking a BS/MS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
• Candidates who are 1-4 years away from graduation from an Engineering School or University
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Candidates who preferably have CAD or drafting experience
• Highly motivated candidates with great communication skills

Responsibilities

• Utilize and the principles of engineering, organizational, and interpersonal skills in a real-world engineering environment
• Interact with engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales personnel, as well as our customers
• Support the development of equipment designs that are safe, functional, reliable, economical, serviceable, and marketable
• Select and specify components, materials, and purchased parts including writing specifications for custom components
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing, test, and service problems as they arise
• Perform other duties as assigned
