About The Position

The Engineering Co-Op program at Regal Rexnord is designed for students pursuing a 4-year engineering degree, providing them with hands-on experience across various engineering disciplines. Participants will engage in diverse projects, apply their academic knowledge, and build professional networks within the company. The program offers opportunities in applications engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, design engineering, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, software engineering, and continuous improvement engineering, with assignments tailored to individual preferences and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for effective interaction with customers and suppliers.
  • Good interpersonal skills for a multi-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel, including management and production staff.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in engineering projects across various disciplines.
  • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in the integration of company products into customer applications as an Applications Engineer.
  • Apply principles of mechanics and materials science to improve products as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Engage in circuit design and testing as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Create detailed plans and prototypes as a Design Engineer.
  • Design quality control systems and perform tests as a Quality Engineer.
  • Streamline manufacturing processes as a Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Engage in software development activities as a Software Engineer.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency as a Continuous Improvement Engineer.
