Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking motivated and skilled individuals for its Engineering Co-Op program. This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, gaining valuable work experience that complements their academic studies. As a Co-Op at Colonial, you will be immersed in the operations of the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, which transports over 100 million gallons of fuel daily. You will work closely with experienced engineers and mentors, learning about engineering standards, material specifications, and safe work practices essential to the pipeline industry. Throughout your Co-Op experience, you will engage in various tasks that will enhance your understanding of engineering principles and practices. You will shadow seasoned engineers, participate in site walkdowns, and assist in executing small-scale projects. This hands-on experience will allow you to develop technical analysis and design skills while collaborating with other engineers to address existing system issues. You will also have the opportunity to conduct testing to ensure system reliability and efficiency, and participate in project commissioning activities.
