About The Position
Engineering/CAD Technician - Fresno, CA Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician to join our Land Development team. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer (unless already licensed), performs design and comprehensive project management for numerous engineering projects of low to medium complexity while effectively leading and promoting a limited number of assigned technical personnel. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD
- Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD
- Design skills and knowledge
- Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player
- Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam
- Willingness to learn and grow is a must
- Associate Degree
- Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D
- 1-5 Years of Industry Experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with additional applications (InfraWorks, SITEOPS, BIM, Revit, AutoTurn, AutoDesk 360, etc..)
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings
- Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
- Collaborate in a team environment
- Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
- Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings
- Plot and check drawings
- Willing to take on other duties as assigned
