  • Assist Engineering Business Office team with data research/entry, comparative analysis, cooperation between product engineering teams / project teams, and communications within product engineering.
  • Learn and utilize Magna business planning tools to support quotation process.
  • Upkeep of engineering quotation database.
  • Track quotations through approval process.
  • Improve Quote status reporting using internal tools for automation.
  • Support eQuote Manager to prepare reports showing eQuote costs distribution by competency, region and product.
  • Participate in resource development process.
  • Work within Magna portfolio management tool (PlanView) to keep all planned projects up to date and aligned with the latest business plan.
  • Support Resource Manager to create reports for resource utilization, resource competency maps and resource requirement.
  • Support annual update of engineering competency record.
  • Develop employee surveys seeking feedback on IT tools and business processes.
  • Support the Magna Powertrain product engineering Planview implementation team as needed.
  • Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (TS 16949).
  • Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  • Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
  • Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school.
  • Understand the basics of engineering theory and principles of design.
  • Knowledge in computer-based software, including 3D CAD.
  • Strong organizational/communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
