About The Position
The Engineering Associate 2 position is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and economical operation of CPS Energy's generation, electric transmission, and distribution systems. This role involves engineering responsibilities related to the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of power plants, transmission lines, substations, and other systems. The associate will also engage in the assessment and testing of new technologies to enhance electric reliability and integrate distributed energy resources into the CPS Energy system. Additionally, the position includes project management, stakeholder communication, and technical expertise to support departmental goals and objectives.
