The Energy Services – Stormwater group provides engineering and mapping for the University’s stormwater infrastructure, including drainage conveyance and stormwater control measures. The selected candidate will work directly with water resources engineers. The position will be full time for 12 to 14 weeks during the summer. There may be a possibility to continue part-time during the school year. Job duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing construction documents and design reports to obtain information about stormwater structures. Performing mathematical computations using geometric and trigonometric functions. (e.g. calculations related to volume, surface area, and elevation). Entering engineering data into a spreadsheet or database. Collecting field data related to stormwater structures. Scanning and cataloging design reports and construction drawings. Updating GIS data -Completing a preliminary design of stormwater infrastructure
