About The Position
PT Engineering Assistant Overview: Signalink is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Engineering Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for a current engineering student who is looking to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to a variety of ongoing engineering initiatives, gaining valuable hands-on experience while supporting our team's goals. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with engineering design and analysis tasks. Support the development, testing, and implementation of engineering projects. Conduct research and gather data to aid in project development. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges. Participate in troubleshooting and testing of engineering systems. Contribute to process improvements and project optimizations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Familiarity in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, etc.).
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one
