We are seeking a skilled Programmable Logic Design Engineer to join our dynamic electronics team in Orlando, Florida. This role is pivotal in establishing FPGA requirements and architecture, as well as implementing, simulating, verifying, and testing Programmable Logic for custom electronics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA design and a passion for working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for interfacing with various teams to ensure that the design meets all specifications and requirements, contributing to the overall success of our projects. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in developing AMD/Xilinx and Microchip FPGA designs, utilizing hardware development languages such as VHDL and Verilog. You will also engage in hardware-software integration and validation, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Your experience in electronics design and troubleshooting will be essential as you navigate the complexities of custom electronics development. Additionally, familiarity with SystemVerilog and UVM testbenches will be beneficial in enhancing our testing processes. As part of our commitment to quality and efficiency, you will manage configuration control, preferably using GitLab, to maintain the integrity of our design processes. This role requires an active Secret Clearance, reflecting our dedication to security and compliance in all our operations.
