The engineering aide provides technical support to the engineers and manufacturing operations team regarding a variety of tasks. The aide's main task will be to provide floor support to the cable and harness manufacturing floor, reducing production downtime, and answering technical questions that the operations team has. Other engineering aide tasks will consist of interpreting engineering drawings, procuring tooling, creating labels, and creating tooling using AutoCAD and 3D printers. The engineering aide must be able to communicate effectively with multiple different functions and must have a strong background in cable harness manufacturing.
