As an Engineering Aide / Project Aide, you will be a key technical member supporting the design, development, test, and manufacturer of spacecrafts, missiles, and ground support hardware. The following are examples of duties that may be included: Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics Parts and design tracking from detail design to order, fabrication, receiving, disbursement, cleaning, installation and test The Successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers Strong skills in use of CREO Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will eventually require obtaining a government security clearance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
  • Mechanical design experience, including Computer Aided Design.
  • Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills
  • Desire to continually learn, ambition to proactively address challenges, and aspiration to work in a diverse team environment
  • Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
