The position involves leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex projects using a hybrid approach that combines traditional project management practices with Agile methodologies. The role requires managing project timelines, risks, issues, scope, decisions, and actions (RISDA) to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes. The individual will facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile principles to support team collaboration and continuous improvement, adapting Agile practices to fit both software and non-software environments. Collaboration with Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams is essential to align execution with business goals and drive high team performance.

  • Implement Lean Agile practices and project management standards to mature delivery capabilities across software and non-software teams.
  • Lead and facilitate team events effectively, modeling and building a positive, healthy team environment.
  • Keep teams organized, aligned to project timelines, and informed of progress, risks, and changes.
  • Partner with Product Owner and Analysts to create and maintain a healthy backlog; coach and train team as needed.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and quality improvements and seek training and guidance for the team.
  • Facilitate removal of impediments, manage risks, issues, and dependencies using structured project tracking tools.
  • Facilitate team retrospectives for problem-solving and continuous improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across product and technology.
  • Maintain project dashboards and team metrics to support transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Prepare team for PI planning and represent team in Scrum of Scrums and PI planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, systems analysis, computer science, or related field, or accredited certification with relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of Agile / Scrum related experience in embedded solutions required.
  • Scrum Master certification preferred; Product Owner certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile and demonstrated practice of Scrum/Kanban.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, testing automation, release automation, etc.).
  • Ability to influence teammates without formal management authority.
  • Embraces servant leadership and empathy; displays behaviors reflecting Agile principles.
  • Ability to think quickly, analyzing conditions to resolve conflict.
  • Good interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, engaging with all levels and disciplines.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to stay focused amidst distractions.
  • Capability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work alone as well as collaborate within a team.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal and professional development.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Microsoft Project, Miro, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools.
