About The Position

The Engineering Technician supports engineering, manufacturing, and quality assuranceactivities within an NQA-1 compliant manufacturing environment. This role assistsengineers in the development, documentation, inspection, testing, and continuousimprovement of products and processes. The technician ensures that all work activities areperformed in accordance with applicable procedures, drawings, specifications, andregulatory requirements while maintaining strict traceability and documentationstandards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or relatedtechnical field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role preferred.
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as nuclear, aerospace, defense,or medical manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technicalspecifications.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD Software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working under NQA-1, ISO 9001, or other regulated quality systems.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, andCMM equipment.
  • Knowledge of configuration management and document control processes.
  • Experience supporting qualification testing or product validation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineering staff for manufacturing, testing, andinspection activities.
  • Perform test support activities using calibrated measurement equipment.
  • Will be trained/certified in ASNT Level II Leak Testing and ASNT Level IIPenetrant Testing in addition to internal testing training/certifications.
  • Interpret and modify engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures tosupport production and quality verification.
  • Support configuration control and document control processes in accordance withNQA-1 requirements.
  • Record and maintain engineering and quality records ensuring complete traceabilityand documentation compliance.
  • Assist with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuousimprovement initiatives.
  • Support qualification testing, validation activities, and equipment setup.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolvetechnical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Update/create drawings and models as necessary.
