The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role contributes to Happy Guests, Spotless Cleanliness, Product Consistency & Quality, and Teamwork. Duties include greeting guests, using their names, contributing to guest satisfaction, handling challenging situations, having strong hotel knowledge, supporting events, understanding relevant technology, and answering calls with friendly service. All areas, both front and back of the house, should be kept clean and well-organized, with everyone pitching in as needed. Operational checklists must be completed accurately and on time, and shift handover reports must be accurate. Team Members must wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed. Communication should be clear, honest, and professional, with a 'Can Do Attitude' and commitment to collaboration. Specifically for the Engineer role, duties include responding to guest repair requests, confirming and documenting completion through an electronic work order platform, keeping room and public space Preventative Maintenance work up to date and on schedule, ensuring all safety measures are followed, ensuring pool and spa follow area health codes, reporting emergency or life safety concerns to immediate supervisor and General Manager, responding to emergency situations using Material Safety Data sheets, conducting full property walks at the beginning and end of scheduled shifts, noting, documenting, and completing any maintenance needs, and keeping all maintenance areas clean and well-organized during and prior to departure.
