Job Description Summary The Engineer performs general maintenance work to ensure hotel physical plant quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained. The Engineer takes care of the building, equipment and grounds of the hotel. This position will perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel. Job Description Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on mechanical equipment. Identify and troubleshoot problems, make repairs as follows: replace bearings and belts and check for proper alignment, repair fan coil units, replace piping and fittings and maintain appropriate records of preventive maintenance and repairs. Respond to requests and make the necessary repairs in a timely and courteous manner. Individual must have knowledge of Assist with requests to shut down water, steam and gas supplies. Change filters on HVAC and fan coil units Ability to understand guests’ service needs & requests.
