The Siebel Developer & Admin role involves managing and supporting the Siebel CRM application, focusing on integration, environment management, version upgrades, and on-demand development. The position requires a deep understanding of Siebel EAI, troubleshooting complex integration issues, and ensuring the application remains compliant with enterprise standards. The role also includes responsibilities for environment migrations, application server management, and supporting configuration changes.

  • Analyze and resolve complex Siebel EAI issues involving Web Services, MQ, REST APIs, and authentication via bank-built gateways.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor RESTful integrations with external applications using Siebel workflows.
  • Investigate failures across integration channels (flat file, EIM, MQ, .NET utilities, etc.).
  • Work closely with infrastructure, .NET, and other interfacing teams to troubleshoot and resolve end-to-end data flow issues.
  • Manage Siebel Tools configuration changes through workspace-based development, including check-in, delivery, and publishing of changes.
  • Perform environment migrations using Siebel Migration Application and Application Deployment Manager (ADM).
  • Support runtime repository deployments and ensure consistency across environments (DEV, SIT1, SIT2, UAT, TechTest, Contingency, Production).
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on Siebel application server management, including patching and applying version updates.
  • Maintain Siebel Application Interface (AI) containers and perform deployment tasks in multi-environment architecture.
  • Monitor and manage Siebel components, logs, and parameters using Server Manager (srvrmgr CLI).
  • Plan, execute, and validate Siebel CRM version upgrades (e.g., from 24.4 to 25.6) to ensure the application remains compliant with enterprise standards and vendor support requirements.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to provision and configure new hardware and operating systems for platform modernization (e.g., migrating from Windows Server 2022 to Windows Server 2025, Oracle 19c to Oracle 21c).
  • Validate Siebel application compatibility with the new platform, including all integrations and dependent systems.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of the upgraded Siebel environment, ensuring functionality and stability across all upstream and downstream systems.
  • Document and execute rollback plans for version upgrades and platform migrations.
  • Use Siebel Tools for emergency fixes, patch deployment, or urgent configuration changes.
  • Conduct unit testing and verification for production issues as needed.
  • Support configuration and migration activities using Siebel's ADM, Migration App, and repository publishing workflows.
