Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus one (1) year of experience in a related occupation in circuit design, cell library group, transistor-level and logic design
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or closely related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related occupation in circuit design, cell library group, transistor-level and logic design

Responsibilities

  • Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for use in the electronic communications industry
  • Design and deliver high quality custom macros and custom cells which will enable a higher-performance and lower-power processor implementation
  • Perform analysis of transistor-level circuits
  • Design Kit preparation and release
  • Participate in testchip design in advanced process nodes and test chip signoff activities
  • Benchmarking gate-level and interconnect performance in advance process nodes
  • Work on problems and tasks towards final deliverables, including transistor-level design, schematic entry, Boolean equivalence, layout interaction, post-layout spice analysis, timing and margins characterization, EM and IR analysis, and presenting design reviews
  • Provide analysis and solutions to help resolve challenging technical problems
  • May work from home on a hybrid schedule within Austin and surrounding areas
