About The Position
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We have an exciting opportunity located in Poway, CA for an experienced Project Engineer to join our MQ-9B Engineering team. This position will focus on software development projects pertaining to our MQ-9B RPA platform. This is a multi-faceted role dealing with a wide variety of skill sets and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. Under general supervision with limited review, this position is responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving a wide range of difficult engineering problems. The position will include working with engineering leadership, program management, and customer representatives to develop and execute development, test, and sustainment programs for domestic and international customers.
