About The Position

Perform all mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance throughout property. The position involves implementing routine maintenance and urgent repair works in accordance with sound engineering practices and occupational health and safety regulations. The technician will closely monitor the effects of servicing and maintenance on their condition wherever possible and ensure that all records of maintenance and testing are kept.

Requirements

• Minimum three years' experience as a general building repair technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Worked in the Engineering or Facilities department related to general building maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to understand and comply with all hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement routine maintenance and urgent repair works.
• Closely monitor the effects of servicing and maintenance.
• Ensure that all records of maintenance and testing are kept.
• Perform preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment.
• Lamp replacement.
• Fixture repair and replacement.
• Circuit breaker reset.
• Change AC filters.
• Basic plumbing repairs.
• Hotel guest room repairs.
• Respond to Maximo WO's.
• Keep daily logs.
• Support events.
• Exemplify core values and DEI culture.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
