The Engineer Trainee is an essential member of the Engineering Department which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position. The Engineer Trainee is responsible for following duties.

Requirements

Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems .
Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Must have 6 classes in Electrical, Heating, HVHC , and Plumbing
Willing to learn general building maintenance.
Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.
Ability to read and speak and write English.
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

Learn and assist preventative maintenance of selective equipment and update appropriate logs as needed.
Learn and assist in repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
Assist in responding to emergency conditions throughout the hotel such as fires, power failures, etc.
Assist all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
Assist and support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
Assist and support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.
Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work .
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
