As a Relay Settings Team member, you’ll be responsible for providing relay settings and/or taking part in conceptual designs that conform to Oncor protection philosophies to quickly remove electrical faults from the system and providing technical support to region and district transmission organizations. This position may include, but not limited to, calculating fault duties, performing fault analysis and technical studies, and providing guidance in the analysis of relay operations. Our System Protection organization at Oncor responsible for the design, support, and standardization of the relay protection systems needed to detect and isolate electrical faults quickly and reliably so as to minimize customer interruptions, maintain power grid reliability, minimize equipment damage, and ensure customer and employee safety.
