About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our hardware validation team, focusing on PCB and platform testing. This hands-on role involves validating system interactions, supporting product assembly, and ensuring hardware components meet rigorous product specifications through comprehensive testing and validation processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware validation and testing environments
  • Experience with hardware validation methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with defect tracking systems for issue identification, documentation, and resolution
  • PCB assembly, testing procedures, and electronic systems
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, specifications, and documentation
  • Experience with basic test equipment and measurement tools

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in any of the following: Industry-standard benchmarks and validation frameworks
  • Automated testing tools and validation software
  • Laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
  • Version control systems and configuration management
  • Compliance requirements for electronic products
  • Semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering technician duties specializing in PCB, platform, and board validation with emphasis on system interaction testing
  • Assist in the assembly and integration of platforms and circuit boards following established procedures and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure all products conform to defined product specifications and quality standards
  • Execute comprehensive testing of feature interactions using established validation infrastructure and methodologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify, document, and track bugs and issues through defect tracking systems
  • Support validation activities by setting up test environments and executing test procedures
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, findings, and recommendations
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards throughout all testing activities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
