About The Position
HII Unmanned Systems (HII UxS) are seeking an Integration and Test engineer for its USV programs. As an I&T engineer on a USV program, you will be part of an interdisciplinary approach to a variety of efforts relating to the technical planning of the integration and test effort, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability for unmanned surface vehicles. This person will work closely with the project team to transfer product definitions into verifiable requirements and specifications that result in a robot designed for manufacturing, cost, and customer satisfaction, and works closely with the Operations team to validate system performance.
Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance #LI-MH1
- Experience developing detailed test cases based of requirements
- Experience developing detailed test reports
- Experience testing in maritime environment
- Experience with software testing
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with JIRA, JAMA/DOORS (requirement management system)
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting
- Experience performing root cause analysis
- Experience integrating and testing software and hardware on marine robotics
- Experience with configuration management

Responsibilities
- Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
- Coordinates integrated testing activities.
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
- Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
